The BIEMH 2026, held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, once again established itself as one of the most important events in the advanced manufacturing and machine tool sector.
During these days, manufacturers, technology providers, industrial engineering companies and customers from around the world came together to share knowledge, present innovations in automation, precision machining and process digitalization, and explore new business opportunities.
For us, participating in BIEMH 2026 has been a great success. As a family-owned company with more than 80 years of experience, the exhibition allowed us to reaffirm our commitment to innovation and customization, two pillars that define the way we approach engineering and the development of industrial solutions.
Our way of engineering at BIEMH 2026
This year we took part in the exhibition with our own stand, paying attention to every detail in order to share with customers, partners and visitors our way of developing engineering solutions: customized, close to our customers and adapted to the real needs of each production environment.
BIEMH gave us the opportunity to showcase how we work at CMI Durango, developing custom-built machines tailored to each client, going beyond traditional industry standards and always keeping the customer at the center of everything we do.
Our presence at the exhibition also allowed us to highlight our ability to design solutions that respond to specific processes and concrete industrial manufacturing challenges.
Innovation, customization and tailor-made solutions
One of the aspects we noticed most during the exhibition was the strong interest in innovation applied to industrial production. In this field, we feel particularly comfortable, as at CMI Durango we have spent years developing solutions that not only adapt to each client, but also help optimize production and meet highly specific technical requirements.
Customization remains one of the key differentiating factors of our approach. BIEMH 2026 gave us the opportunity to share this vision with customers and suppliers, exchange experiences and discuss cutting-edge trends and solutions in an environment that is especially dynamic for the machine tool industry.
A space to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities
In addition to being a showcase for innovation, the exhibition was a key opportunity for us to strengthen strategic relationships with customers and suppliers, as well as to continue building new collaboration opportunities.
During the event, we also had the opportunity to meet with SIAISA, with whom we made progress on several projects related to the energy, aerospace and defense sectors in Spain. These types of meetings allow us to continue fostering collaborations that bring value to complex and highly specialized industrial projects.
During these days, we also explored international opportunities, particularly in markets such as Mexico, Turkey, Portugal, Poland and France, while opening the door to new markets aligned with our growth vision.
Internationalization is part of our strategic plan, and BIEMH helped us continue moving forward in this direction, consolidating our expansion and strengthening our position in the sector.
